In “Building KPO”, detailed video and commentary has been filmed of the construction of the Kissimmee Park Observatory, in order to create a documentary to be made available to other amateurs wanting to build their own observatories. We have learned a great deal about the details in constructing an observatory, and want to share this info.
In the documentary, we cover a wide range of topics related to construction of general buildings, however we do cover specific requirements of an observatory, such as as pier construction and vibration isolation.
